Brittany is much more heavily forested than the UK but also has vast open spaces. Brittany really is a beautiful part of the France, with very little congestion on the roads. Brittany also abounds with some wonderful canals, lakes and rivers, some of which are reckoned to be the best fishing rivers in France.
